New Apostolic Church Chief Apostle Jean-Luc Schneider has conducted his final Divine Service at Lusaka’s Central Church Congregation during his tour to Zambia that commenced on February 6, 2026.
Thousands of devoted Christians attended the electrifying service, where Chief Apostle Schneider emphasized love and peace as the cornerstone of Jesus’ sacrifice.
Notable congregants included Speaker of the national assembly Nelly Muti, Infrastructure minister Charles Milupi, Information and Media minister Cornelius Mweetwa, city of Livingstone Mayor Constance Nalishebo Muleabai among others.
Chief Apostle Jean-Luc Schneider lead the the Divine Service with text reading from 1 Corinthians 10:12.
1 Corinthians 10:12, “So, if you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don’t fall!”
The choir spiced the Divine Service with the after text hymn “Loving Saviour, Let Thy Mercy” (CHC 157).
Schneider urged Christians to love one another to promote peace across the world.
The Chief Apostle message was a reminder to stay humble and vigilant, focusing on our relationship with God.
Chief Apostle Schneider’s message on love and peace ties in nicely with Zambia.
This messages resonates very well with Zambia as the country heads for general elections in the next 5 months.
The new Apostolic congregants both at Central Church in Lusaka and those connected via Live TV transmission where filled with joy and thanksgiving as the Chief Apostle Jean-Luc Schneider preached about Love and peace.
The Divine Service also witnessed the ordination of six Apostles and the creation and realignment of new Apostle Areas within the District Apostle Area 28 (DAA28).
The Chief Apostle ordained the following Apostles:
• Apostle Martin Mutondo – Lusaka West
• Apostle Kondwani Chisi – Mangochi, Malawi
• Apostle Wisdom Shanengeta – Lusaka North Chisamba
• Apostle Steven Sikobela – Chingola Mufulira
• Apostle Joseph Kenya – Kabwe
• Apostle Samson Golah Mwanza – Mzimba, Malawi
In line with the growth of the church and the need to strengthen pastoral care, several new Apostle Areas were created and realigned, with responsibility entrusted to the following Apostles:
• Ndola Masaiti – Apostle James Kasongo
• Kitwe Luanshya – Lead Apostle Yakomba Yavwa
• Chingola Mufulira – Apostle Steven Sikobela
• Lusaka North Chisamba – Apostle Wisdom Shanengeta
• Lusaka East Luangwa – Lead Apostle Oscar Kalumiana
• Lusaka South Kafue – Apostle Maeke Njunju
• Mangochi in Malawi – Apostle Kondwani Chisi
Furthermore, addressing the congregation after the Divine Service, host District Apostle Kububa Soko explained that the creation and realignment of Apostle Areas is aimed at ensuring closer access between Apostles and God’s children, thereby making spiritual care and pastoral delivery more effective and efficient.
He further announced that the process of creating new Apostle Areas will conclude next year, following the addition of three more Apostle Areas, to be established in Eastern Province, North-Western Province, and central southern Malawi.
The electric congregational closing hymn “To God be the glory” 66 NEH ignited the not only the congregation but also nearby area areas as far as civic centre.
There was serious traffic jam around longarcs area as thousands turned up for the important Divine Service.
