Sunday, 29th March 2026 — Patriotic Front (PF) President Makebi Zulu has made his first appointments since his election as party president on Saturday, 21st March 2026.
According to a statement issued today, Hon. Zulu has appointed six individuals as Members of the Patriotic Front Central Committee, marking the beginning of his leadership restructuring within the former ruling party.
The newly appointed Central Committee members are:
Mr. Daniel Bukali
Mr. Isaac Nsoneka
Mr. Kenneth C. Moola
Dr. Alex Lwando
Mr. Rizwan Patel
Mr. Max Kapantha
Meanwhile, Hon. Zulu is expected to soon convene the first National Executive Committee (NEC) and Central Committee meeting to deliberate on recent and critical developments within the party.
The appointments come as the PF continues to reorganise its leadership structures ahead of the August 13, 2026 general elections.
The statement was issued by Patriotic Front Chairperson for Information and Publicity, Ambassador Emmanuel Mwamba.
