Kalulushi parliamentary candidate Rashida Mulenga has paid tribute to workers across the district, praising their dedication and resilience in the face of economic challenges.

In her Labour Day message released today, Mulenga celebrated _ba tamanga_, private sector employees, and civil servants, describing them as “the men and women who work hard every day, going the extra mile to feed their families.”

“Today, we celebrate and honour you all who have shaped our history with your relentless dedication and hard work,” Mulenga said.

She described hard work as “the backbone of our society” and offered prayers for workers struggling to meet daily needs.

“May God meet you at the point of your needs,” she added.

Mulenga, who is contesting the Kalulushi parliamentary seat in the 13 August 2026 general election, said the message was a reminder that national progress depends on the efforts of ordinary workers in Chambishi, Kalengwa, and across the district.

“From the markets to the mines, from classrooms to clinics, Kalulushi runs because you show up,” she added.
