LUSAKA – DJ Kandeke, the manager of award-winning singer Yo Maps, has announced that he has reconciled with veteran Zambian musician Drimz Mr. Muziq, describing the moment as one of love, unity, and forgiveness.

In an emotional message shared on social media, Kandeke expressed gratitude that he and Drimz had put their differences behind them and restored their brotherhood.

“My Brother and I Are Together Again”

Sharing a photo of himself with Drimz, Kandeke wrote:

“Against all odds, my brother and I are together again. This picture is a message of love, unity, and forgiveness. I’m a very happy man.”

He added that everyone makes mistakes at some point in life, but what truly matters is how those mistakes are addressed.

“Time and again, we all make mistakes both knowingly and unknowingly. What truly makes us better people is how we choose to handle those mistakes, especially the ones we knowingly make.”

Misunderstanding Finally Resolved

Kandeke acknowledged that misunderstandings had previously created distance between him and Drimz.

He revealed that they recently met, held discussions, and managed to resolve the issues that had affected their relationship.

“Unfortunately, misunderstandings arose, words were said, tensions grew, and distance came between brothers from Kabwe. Today, I thank God for giving us the opportunity to meet, talk, and clear the misunderstanding.”

Kandeke Pays Tribute to Drimz

In his message, Kandeke praised Drimz for the role he has played in Zambia’s music industry, describing him as an elder brother who opened doors for younger artists.

“Our elder brother, Drimz, paved the way for us in countless ways that words can hardly express. We are forever grateful for his guidance, support, and the foundation he helped build.”

His remarks have been welcomed by fans, many of whom described the reconciliation as a positive step for the local music industry.

A Message of Forgiveness

Kandeke concluded his message by encouraging people to embrace forgiveness over pride.

“May this be a reminder that love, humility, and forgiveness will always be stronger than pride. Here’s to new beginnings, stronger bonds, and moving forward together.”

The reunion comes shortly after Drimz also shared a message celebrating the restoration of their relationship, saying that despite differences in opinion, brothers will always find a way to make peace.

Fans are now hopeful that the renewed friendship between the two could pave the way for future collaborations and continued unity within Zambia’s music industry.
