International super star model Alice Musukwa, has come to the defence of Mercy G, a local pencil artist who in the past few days has received social media backlash.
In a post seen by ZED GOSSIP, Alice Musukwa says majority of Zambians have the zeal to pull down people instead not jubilating their successes.
She says the case of Mercy G, is unfortunate adding that she is not surprised that the young lady is receiving severe backlash for what she is talented to do.
“Mercy G, I don’t know who u are, but I have seen disturbing articles about you and how people are trying so hard, to damage you. unfortunately in Zambia they wait for your downfall more than your success. True or false it’s non of anyone’s business but your own strategy to improve your standards and increase your market. FYI not every businessman or woman has been straight to make it” she said.
She further wrote “Babe girl welcome to Zambia, a Land that was peaceful but toxic now, a Land that never appreciates, or practice congratulations words towards someone trying. I have cyber bullied people and I have been cyber bullied many times and I will tell you that. The Anger in cyber bullies is always a reflection of who they are or what they are going through, it’s not about you”.
Meanwhile, Alice Musukwa, has urged Mercy G, to ignore whatever negative vibe she is currently getting on social media by urging her to remain positive.
“Babe girl stand up Dust it off and continue your journey. You are better than many that have commented bad about you. Forgive Us, We are still in a process of learning how to correct people without being damaging so don’t worry.
Do More drawings and make more false chats whosever is bothered must hang, in fact hug a Zesco transformer. Go Go Go girl” she said.
