AWARD-winning Zambian fashion designer and technical expert Kasonde Nkole has exited the market by getting married. Paul Nkole, her fraternal twin brother, was also born with her.

Kasonde, a multitalented and well-known woman, is a renowned fashion designer who is said to have been born a wonder woman in fashion. She is a fashion expert in the Zambian industry, a responsible woman who holds down multiple jobs, and an incredibly ambitious woman.

Like Kabaso with Nkanda Yatu, she runs a clothing business called Kasslita’s Deigns. They are both making use of their complementary fashion design abilities by using local textiles like chitenge to tell African stories through clothing.

“I enjoy fashion; I feel powerful when I dress nicely. Every day, we dress in clothes that represent our responsibilities, moods, culture, ambitions, and desires.” Kasonde said.

As they say style is what you buy but fashion is what you do with it afterwards. Likewise, looking good has always been her ideal goal. It is a symbol of greatness to her.

Being brave does not mean that you are never scared; it simply means going forth in spite of your fears, knowing that there is a reward at the end for those who work diligently and persevere despite the hardships along the way.
