Minister of Youth, Sports and Art Elvis Nkandu says the Drug Enforcement Commission has been brought to assist recover funds from artists who got money from Presidential fund during the Patriotic Front regime.

The Minister has disclosed that many artists deceived Government, that they were comedians but their comedy has never been heard before.

He says not only did some artist deceive government, they also committed a crime of impersonation contrary to the Zambian Laws.

Over 153 artists in various categories benefited from the 30-Million Kwacha Presidential Arts Development and Empowerment Scheme by the PF government.
