BE CAUTIOUS ON KK LONG WEEKEND – RTSA
THE Road Transport and Safety Agency-RTSA, has cautioned motorists and all road users to observe regulations ahead of the long weekend extending to the Kenneth Kaunda Day to be commemorated on Monday, April 29, 2024.
RTSA Acting Head-Public Relations, Mukela Mangolwa, emphasizes the need for safety during the long-weekend which concides with the one-week school break and the Zambia Breweries Mosi Day of Thunder Music Festival in Livingstone.
Mangolwa says the Agency anticipates a significant increase in vehicular traffic on the roads, which may be a source of risk if regulations are not observed.
He states that RTSA, working with the Zambia Police Service Traffic Section, have deployed Officers across the country to ensure adherence to regulations.
