Peter Chanda is a Zambian fitness coach, professional bodybuilder and nutritionist. At the age of 26 he began training as a form of stress relief which eventually led him into a career of professional bodybuilding starting with the first event Mr Chawama competition in 2009. Born in 1981 in Mufulira, Peter was inspired by local and international bodybuilders which fuelled him to push his sporting career even further.

After participating in South Africa’s biggest competition for bodybuilders, the International Bodybuilding & Fitness Federation (IBFF) in November 2021, Peter Chanda has qualified to compete at the global IBFF competition in Slovenia in June 2022. “I am proud to be representing Zambia at this global championship and I am sure that I will bring the trophy home. However, I need support and sponsorship to embark on this journey, any financial contribution would be appreciated” said Chanda.

With a focused attitude and his dedication, Peter Chanda has earned himself a top 3 average in all the international bodybuilding events that he has competed in.
