CF NKUNDALILA ASPIRING MP BANGWE SLAMS DEVELOPMENT CLAIMS AT SERENJE’S MUSAMANI

Nkundalila aspiring Member of Parliament, Bangwe Naviley of the Citizens First (CF) party, has insisted that Musamani area in Chieftainess Serenje has seen no fumfwe wa development, contrary to claims by UPND Serenje District Information and Publicity Secretary, Harrisin Kamfwa.

The issue arose while Bangwe was on radio, when Kamfwa phoned in to assert that Musamani had experienced development.

Bangwe said that even after purchasing new spectacles to see more clearly, he did not observe any new projects when he visited Musamani to verify the claim.

He stressed that in the past five years, the only visible work was a slab for a storage shed — suggesting that at the current pace, the project would only rise to window level in the next five years.

He added that the other big score by the UPND is that the people of Musamani are paying more to transport their goods to Serenje Central Business District because of the high cost of fuel.

He further stated that the UPND in Serenje should be informing central government correctly if the district is to develop.

However, he declared that “time is up”, adding that CF President Harry Kalaba will be in State House this August to deliver tangible development.
