Chilubi parliamentary aspirant Christabel Kalasa has urged residents to elect leaders with clear development plans as the country heads to polls in 90 days.

In a message to voters following the dissolution of Parliament, Kalasa said the election was about the future of Chilubi’s communities, not just politics. She highlighted the need for better roads, schools, healthcare, youth employment, and empowerment for women.

Kalasa warned against electing leaders without vision or a record of service, saying such leadership often prioritizes personal benefit over community development.

“I stand before you with dedication, integrity, and a genuine commitment to serve the people of Chilubi,” she said, calling on voters to choose development and unity.

The constituency will elect a new MP as part of Zambia’s general elections scheduled for 13 August 2026.
