Chingola based comedian Memory Kasweshi aka The Memory, has died in a road accident in Kabwe as she was travelling to the Copperbelt from Lusaka.

She was in Lusaka for a comedy show which was held at Lusaka Playhouse on Friday.

Memory who recently had her own show at Chingola Arts Society was due to have another The Memory Show this coming Youth Day in Solwezi.

Until her death Memory was the vice secretary for the Comedians Association of Zambia (COAZ).

She is survived by a young son.
