…pledges to fix drainage, street lighting and youth empowerment_
Eugene Numwa, aspiring councilor for Justin Kabwe Ward, has filed his nomination papers under the ruling UPND ticket.
Numwa’s nomination was validated this afternoon at Justin Kabwe School in Mandevu Constituency.
Speaking after the process, the aspiring civic leader said his priorities, if elected, include addressing poor drainage systems and improving street lighting in the ward.
He added that young people would be central to his development agenda as councilor.
Numwa also vowed to deliver Justin Kabwe Ward to the UPND in this year’s general elections.
After filing, Numwa was mobbed by supporters who lifted him in celebration of his nomination.
He is considered a strong contender for the Justin Kabwe seat.
