FAZ President Keith Mweemba said Musatila’s death is particularly heartbreaking because she was among Zambia’s most promising young female football talents.
Mweemba recalled that Musatila was one of the three young players selected by FAZ and COSAFA to travel to Spain under a prestigious La Liga one-year sponsorship scholarship programme.
FAZ revealed that Musatila was sponsored in 2023 alongside Esther Musialela and Jessy Zulu, following their impressive performance at the 2022 Under-17 Region VI Tournament held in Malawi.
