Elixur Integrated Media Limited that is in charge of producing Zambia’s Telenovela Drama Series ‘Zuba’ has refuted reports of sexual harassment and rape leveled against its production team.

Chief Executive Officer Fred Muthandeni Phiri who is also the Zuba Executive Producer says Ms. Felistus did not at any point report any rape case.

Mr. Phiri says it is shocking that during Ms. Felistus death, grave accusations are being spearheaded by members of the public without any facts to the matter.

He says Ms. Felistus only worked as a Standby make up Artist for Zuba between 1st March 2021 to 30th November, 2021 as she was subcontracted by a third party.

Mr. Phiri says the Production house has never recorded any sexual assult or harrassment before.

He says in house investigations have been instituted to ensure that nothing of that nature has accured.

Mr. Phiri has however appealed to Members of the Public with information to come forward and help them to carry out the investigations.

There has been a Media outcry following the death of felistus Banda who many believe that she committed suicide after being raped by Zuba production Team as reviewed by her close friends.
