Newly elected Malambo East Member of Parliament Faith Lungu Bury made history as the first woman ever to win this seat.
She paid special tribute to the women who paved the way before her.
Lungu told young girls and women that their voices mattered and no dream was too big for their hands to hold.
She affirmed that she was their representative and their struggles were her struggles.
Lungu promised to be honest, strong and tireless, and she would fight for them in Government.
She emphasised that the victory belonged not to her alone but to every person in Malambo East.
