FÔREIGNER ATTEMPTS TO SHÓÓT ZAMBIAN, DISAPPEARS

A man hunt has been launched for a Lebanese National only identified as Aboudly, for allegedly attempting to shööt a Zambian citizen.

This is after Michael Moono aged 38 reported to Chelstone Police that the suspect who was with another colleague of Lebanese origin, Mino Voza, allegedly pulled up his pistol and pointed at the victim whilst threatening to shøøt.

Police Public Relations Officer, Rae Hamoonga, notes that the suspect ended up firing on the floor near where the victim was standing, stating that the particles of the projectile injured him on both legs.

The incident occurred Thursday between 00:15 hours and 00:20 hours at a named night club at East Park shopping mall in Lusaka.

Hamoonga says following the incident, the suspect and his friend left the scene in a Grey Mercedes Benz bearing registration number BCD 90.

He notes that Police visited the scene of crime and recovered residues of the projectile that have been kept as exhibits and a medical report form issued to the victim.
