JUST when Faith Musonda thought the coast is clear over her cases involving being in possession of property suspected to be proceeds of crime, the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) says the seizure of her house at Kingsland City has opened a Pandora’s Box leading to more investigations.

Speaking to the media this morning, ACC spokesperson Queen Chibwe said during the last quarter, the Commission handed over to Government a total of K 65, 333, 046 and US$ 57, 900 in recovered funds and forfeited to the State in a case of being in possession of suspected property reasonably believed to have been proceeds of crime against Margaret Chisela Musonda, alias Faith Musonda.

She however said this was not all as the ACC also seized her house at Kingsland city which has now led to fresh investigations on her.

“The first high profile case is no the alleged possession of suspected proceeds of crime in form of a house at Kingsland City against Margaret Chisela Musonda, alias Faith Musonda. Following her arrest, the Commission has come across additional information in this matter concerning the same Faith Musonda and this information has led to extended investigations,” Ms. Chibwe said.
