The Ministry of Health has vaccinated over 500,000 people with the Oral Cholera Vaccines in the last three days.

The country launched the vaccination on Monday after receiving 1.4 million Vaccines targeting 5 hotspots, all in Lusaka Province.

Minister of Health Sylvia Masebo says the response is overwhelming, but cautions the public to uphold hygiene.

In the last 24hours the country has recorded 518 new cholera cases, and 16 deaths.

Meanwhile, Airtel Zambia has donated One Million Kwacha and assorted items by Zambia Revenue Authority.
