UPND Loyalist and former Choma South Parliamentary Aspirant Joe Muchindu says President Hakainde Hichilema’s victory is a “powerful affirmation” of the confidence Zambians have placed in his leadership.
Muchindu said Zambians had once again demonstrated through the ballot that they believe in the President’s vision to deliver economic and social transformation.
“President Hakainde Hichilema’s victory is a powerful affirmation of his confidence the people of Zambia have placed in his leadership vision, and determination to build a stronger, more prosperous and united nation,” Muchindu stated.
He added that the vote shows Zambians “remain confident in President Hakainde Hichilema’s ability to deliver on his vision for the country and steer Zambia towards greater economic and social transformation.
Muchindu said the President’s renewed mandate presents another opportunity to build on gains already made.
“The President’s renewed mandate presents another opportunity to consolidate the progress made so far while opening a new window for even greater economic growth, improved livelihoods increased opportunities for young people and development that reaches every corner of the country”he said.
Muchindu urged all Zambians to rally behind the President to ensure that development programs reach every district.
He noted that the focus must now shift to job creation for the youth, lowering the cost of living, and delivering infrastructure across rural and urban areas.
