MORE medals have been minted for Team Zambia by judokas at the ongoing African Union Sports Council (AUSC) Region 5 Youth Games in Lilongwe Malawi.

The judokas in their fights minted 17 medals in total bringing the total number of medals on the table bagged so far for Zambia to twenty-eight (28).

Among those who minted medals on Wednesday are those who took part in last year’s Region 5 Youth Games in Lesotho Maseru.

Judokas will now shift their focus to mixed team events on Thursday 8 December.

Zambia will be competing with Malawi, South Africa, Angola, and Zimbabwe.
