SINGER and songwriter Yo Maps’ wife, Kidist, has dragged to court a businessman over alleged cyber bullying and threatening to send people to rape her.

In a Facebook posting last Monday, the accused, Elias Musyani, a blogger, allegedly issued threats against Kidist, her husband and their daughter, a minor.

Musyani allegedly threatened to send his “thugs” to sexually abuse the musician’s wife in the presence of her husband and also abduct the couple’s daughter.

“We know the gym she [Kidist] goes to and what time she leaves!!!…she doesn’t even have body guards,” part of the posting on Musyani’s page reads in part.

Kidist, who had earlier warned the accused that she would take legal action, has filed a criminal complaint against the blogger.

The accused is facing five counts of harassment utilising electronic means, contrary to Section 69 of the Cyber Security and Cyber Crimes Act of 2021.
