We note with outmost concern and disgust the post by one going by the name ZAC as indicated in the picture below where he has put a cross sign in dissaproval on the poster of Mr KOFFI OLOMIDE done by ourselves highlighting the upcoming festival.

This is unacceptable and against the internationally recognised laws on hate speech and cyber bulling.

It is unacceptable for a Mr ZAC to go the direction he has chosen. This comes with repurcations and a defeat in the whole process of round table discussions to find an amicable way forward.

KOFFI OLOMIDE is a renowned artist whose reputation is at stake due to such careless and less thought after social media stunts by Mr ZAC and others. As organisers of this well thought and timely AFRICAN MUSIC ARTS AND FOOD FESTIVAL.

There are accepted ways of expressing one’s concerns and displeasure unlike cyber bulling and character assault on reputable artists like KOFFI OLOMIDE.

In view of the above, we hereby without fear or favour tell Mr ZAC to stop this henceforth. This must be through an apology using the same mediums he could have used. Without that, we remain with no option other than engaging our lawyers to take necessary action against the him and any other individuals doing the same.

There is no bad blood between the organisers of both shows. We are hoping to find a solution in abating this unplanned crush.

Mr Yo Maps is becoming a Household name in the country and it is our desire to see him on much bigger platforms beyond the borders of Zambia, Africa and the world.

This can be achieved dependent on how us Zambians treat Artists from other countries. Mr Yo Maps will not be helped if we continue on the trajectory of hate speech, character assassination and cyber bulling of artists from across the boarders.
