LUANGENI CONSTITUENCY COMPLETES 13 EDUCATION CDF PROJECTS

Luangeni Constituency in Chipata, Eastern Province, has completed 13 Constituency Development Fund (CDF) projects in the education sector between 2021 and 2025.

Luangeni Member of Parliament and Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly, Moses Moyo, itemised the completed projects during a briefing.

He highlighted the completion of a library at Katawa Primary School in Kazimule Ward.

He also noted the completion of a library at Chipikula Primary School in Nsingo Ward.

Moyo further stated that named schools which have seen completed classroom blocks include Makwelelo Primary School, Kamwala Primary School, and Mzilikazi Primary School in Makangila and Chikando Wards.

He identified others as Tiimbe Primary School in Kazimule Ward, Mchanchanta Primary School in Nsingo Ward, and Manda Primary School in Mwami Ward.

He added that further completed classroom blocks are at Kalolo Khova Primary School, Mafemula Primary School, Maguya Primary School, and Mkwekwe Primary School, all in Khova Ward.

Moyo paid tribute to President Hakainde Hichilema for the expanded CDF, which he explained has transformed the constituency.

He emphasised that the projects have helped support free education by expanding classroom space and reducing overcrowding in schools.
