A WOMAN of Lusaka’s Kamwala South was left mouth wide open, lips dry and knees weak after she learnt that she had been in polygamy for 13 years of her 17 years marriage.

Baffled and stupefied, Patricia Malambo, 36 walked herself from Kamwala South on the bumpy Ring Road past ZICAS up to the Boma Local Court to protest before the law over her husband’s well kept secret.

Patricia, told the court that despite her coming from Southern Province were people sometimes have more wives than cattle, she was now a Lusakan who could not tolerate polygamy.

Asked how she unlocked husband Chizika Kayombo’s well-kept secret, her answer was simple, pubic hair!

Patricia narrated that her husband started turning up home with his private parts shaved sparkling and cleaner than the head of the slain rapper Tupac Amaru Shakur.

She later discovered that he actually had two children with the other wife adding to the four she had with him.

Like a conerned secret spy, Kayombo confessed to contracting a second marriage but alleged that it was because his wife slept with clothes and hence his seeking a woman who could sleep in the Garden of Eden attire.

Kayombo added that despite this, he was supportive of his wife and had even opened a shop for her at Inter City Bus Terminus.

He added that he had at one time even suspended his second marriage but his first wife’s low sexual appetite compelled him to re-activate the second marriage.
