MAN IN COURT OVER DEFILEMENT CHARGES
A 20 year old pupil of Kabobola Compound in Mazabuka District has appeared in the Magistrate Court for allegedly defiling a 7 year old girl on the March 12, 2024.
Bright Ngenda stands charged with unnatural offences contrary to section 155 (a) of the Penal Code Chapter 87 of the Laws of Zambia as amended by Act No.15 of 2005.
When the matter came up for plea before Senior Resident Magistrate Edward Chisanga, Ngenda denied the charge.
Chisanga adjourned the matter to May 9, 2024, for commencement of trial.
