A 38-year-old man of Chawama Township in Lusaka has died after he was reportedly beaten by his neighbor for defecating outside his house.
The victim’s brother came back from work on Saturday at 05:00 hours and discovered the dead body of his brother whom he lives with lying on the ground outside his house naked.
Police Spokesperson Rae Hamoonga identifies the victim as Shadreck Mwanza who was beaten by a neighbor only identified as Ranger.

Hamoonga tells Byta FM News that police visited the scene and found that the body had no physical injuries although it seemed like the skull was fractured.
Police have since launched investigations to arrest the suspect.
The deceased’s body has been deposited in the University Teaching Hospital Mortuary awaiting an autopsy and burial
