Legendary Zambian music act MC Wabwino has once again proven why he remains one of the most entertaining personalities in the industry after posting a viral message about his long-running friendship with rapper Ruff Kid.
In a humorous Facebook post titled “MY RELATIONSHIP WITH RUFFKID,” MC Wabwino described their bond as something straight out of a movie.
“Listen, my relationship with Ruff kid is basically a 10-season Netflix documentary series at this point,” he wrote.
MC Wabwino Praises Ruff Kid After “Bauzye” Collaboration
MC Wabwino revealed that the two recently worked on a new song titled “Bauzye,” describing it as a masterpiece that allowed him to reconnect with his rap roots.
He noted that despite Ruff Kid being based in South Africa, they managed to put the project together using technology and teamwork.
“We recently did a masterpiece called ‘Bauzye’… Even with him being in South Africa, we used every bit of tech available to cook up a storm,” MC Wabwino said.

“The man is a beast. His stage presence is a rare species in this industry,” he wrote.

“I fully expect him to bring home a prestigious international award one day,” he added.

However, it was MC Wabwino’s “adoption” joke that left fans laughing across social media.
He jokingly stated that he had “adopted” Ruff Kid in the past, but now feels the rapper has outgrown the “son” title.
“I adopted this man some time ago, but I think the ‘Son’ tag has expired. He’s no longer a boy; he’s a full grown man,” he said.
MC Wabwino added that Ruff Kid needs to face celebrity life on his own because sometimes he is simply “too ruff” for a peaceful household.

He demanded answers on one particular issue that has been bothering him.
“WHERE IS THE LADY HE BROUGHT HOME AND TOLD ME HE WAS GOING TO MARRY HER,” MC Wabwino asked.

MC Wabwino jokingly warned that if Ruff Kid fails to provide a wedding date or a convincing explanation, he will officially disown him.
“If I don’t get a wedding date or a very good explanation, the disownment papers are getting signed!” he wrote.
