Police in Ndola District on the Copperbelt have arrested a mobile money agent who allegedly stole seventeen thousand kwacha and claimed it turned into plain papers.

Copperbelt Province Police Commanding Officer PEACEWELL MWEEMBA says Police have detained LUCKSON TEMBO after he claimed that K17,000 out of the K22,000 cash he had on Wednesday turned into plain papers.

Mr. MWEEMBA says the owner of the mobile money business LINAH HANYAMA was told the story but could not believe it hence reported her worker to the Police.

He told ZNBC news in a statement that investigations into the matter have been instituted.
