MOYO DRILLS 7 MORE BOREHOLES, BRINGING TOTAL TO 191

Luangeni Member of Parliament and Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly, Moses Moyo, has launched the drilling of seven new boreholes in Mwami Ward, Luangeni Constituency.

The latest phase began at Katambo Village in Mwami Ward, in partnership with a Turkish NGO.

Moyo explained that these new boreholes build on the 184 already completed across Luangeni since 2021, with support from Direct Aid of Kuwait and UIC of Turkey.

He emphasised that the expansion will further improve access to clean and safe drinking water, reducing the burden on women and children and supporting small-scale farming.

Moyo noted that the initiative continues to strengthen climate resilience, enhance food security, and promote community ownership for long-term sustainability.

This new drilling in Mwami Ward demonstrates his ongoing commitment to practical solutions that improve livelihoods, promote health, and advance sustainable development in Luangeni.
