MP RASHIDA MULENGA MEETS CHAMBISHI COUNCILLORS TO ALIGN SERVICE DELIVERY

United Party for National Development (UPND) Chambishi Member of Parliament, Rashida Mulenga has met with all newly elected Councillors in the constituency to agree on a coordinated approach to service delivery.

Mulenga said the meeting was part of efforts to ensure residents of Chambishi get better services.

“In our bid to serve the people of Chambishi better, yesterday I met with newly elected Councillors across the Constituency to discuss a coordinated approach to service delivery,” Mulenga stated.

The new lawmaker in the newly created constituency said the focus of the engagement was to align priorities between the MP’s office and the local authority.

“Our focus is simple: to strengthen collaboration, and turn the mandate we have been given into meaningful development for our people,” she added.

Mulenga explained that the discussions centered on improving basic services, community projects, and ensuring that CDF funds are used effectively to benefit all wards.

The MP said working closely with Councillors is key to delivering on the UPND government’s promise of development that reaches every community.
