Munali Constituency aspiring Member of Parliament Thomas Sipalo has assured residents that all development projects and pledges he has initiated will continue, despite the recent delimitation process that has seen Kalingalinga re-designated to Roma Constituency.
In a statement posted on his Facebook page, Sipalo, who is also the CEO of the Tiikosesa Movement, said his commitment to the people of Munali remains unchanged and will not be affected by boundary adjustments.
“All Projects and Pledges Will Continue”
Sipalo stressed that even though constituency boundaries have shifted, his development agenda will still be implemented as planned.
“Despite Kalingalinga’s re-designation to Roma Constituency, we will continue driving forward the projects we launched under the original Munali constituency mapping, in line with our earlier objectives,” Sipalo said.
Sustainable Development Over Politics
The Munali aspiring lawmaker emphasized that his focus is on uplifting marginalized communities and ensuring sustainable progress, noting that development must take priority over electoral ambitions.
“The pursuit of sustainable progress for marginalized communities remains our utmost concern, taking precedence over electoral victory,” he said.
Sipalo added that whatever has been started, promised, or pledged in communities will still be fulfilled.
Sipalo Promises Consultations With Residents
Sipalo also pledged to keep communication channels open with residents as he considers the next political direction following the delimitation.
He said he will consult widely with community members before deciding which constituency he will stand in.
“We pledge to maintain open lines of communication with our constituents concerning our future initiatives on which Constituency to stand after the delimitation by conducting thorough reviews with our people,” he stated.
“We Shall Listen to People’s Proposals”
Sipalo said his dedication to service will remain firm, adding that he will listen to proposals from the people as they decide the best way forward.
“Our dedication to diligent service will endure. We shall listen to people’s proposals on our next move,” he said.
Sipalo’s remarks have drawn attention from residents, with many praising his assurance that development efforts will not be abandoned due to political changes.
