Oriental Quarries Boxing Promotions (OQBP), under the promotion of Christopher Malunga, has announced the NC’WALA Ceremony Boxing Tournament, an International Professional Boxing event scheduled to take place on 26 February 2026 in Chipata, Eastern province.
Malunga says the tournament will bring together top professional boxers from Zambia, Malawi, and the Democratic Republic of Congo, highlighting regional talent and strengthening sporting ties within Southern Africa.
Zambia’s star boxer David “Sniper” Mwale headlines the tournament against Malawi’s Clifford Antafu in what promises to be a thrilling and highly competitive main event.
In a statement, Malunga, stated that the event is about celebrating culture, uniting nations through sport, and giving boxers a strong platform to showcase their talent at an international level.
“Oriental Quarries Boxing Promotions remains committed to developing professional boxing in Zambia and the region through well-organized, competitive, and internationally recognized events,” he added.
