Lundazi aspiring Member of Parliament on the UPND ticket, Ambassador Evans Kazonga Ng’oma, has challenged leaders in the district over the lack of development at Nthitimila ward.

He noted that despite Lundazi having an opposition Parliamentary representative, council Chairperson, and councillors, progress has remained stagnant.

Ng’oma questioned why Constituency Development Fund allocations have not been fully utilised, suggesting that political differences may be preventing projects from moving forward.

He said residents continue to express frustration over poor road networks, emphasising that infrastructure remains one of the most pressing needs.

He urged the community to demand answers from their elected representatives, stressing that leadership accountability is critical.

Ng’oma further observed that some residents believe the area could see more meaningful development if people elected a UPND Member of Parliament, council Chairperson, and councillors to work in alignment with President Hakainde Hichilema’s administration.

He encouraged citizens to reflect on the state of development and consider change as the August 13 elections approach.
