Vice President MUTALE NALUMANGO says Government has no intentions to reintroduce subsidies on petroleum and other essential commodities.
Mrs. NALUMANGO says government is working to stabilize the economy which will in turn result in reduction of prices of commodities for every Zambian to afford.
She notes that the resources saved from the removal of subsidies will continue to be channeled towards free education and other needy sectors.
The Vice President was responding to Nakonde Member of Parliament LUCAS SIMUMBA who wanted to find out if Government has any plans to reintroduce subsidies because prices of commodities continue to rise.
