Energy Minister PETER KAPALA has assured the nation that the country will not experience load shedding.

Mr. KAPALA says this is because of the mitigation measures which have been put in place to overcome the anticipated power crisis.

He says the country is currently importing power from Mozambique during off peak hours as the power generation capacity at Kariba North Bank Power Station has reduced.

Mr. KAPALA told ZNBC News in an interview that Zambia is importing 200 megawatts of power from Mozambique.
