ONE OF THE BIGGEST CAUSES OF SUICIDES IS ECONOMIC HARDSHIP-SEAN TEMBO

The Opposition Patriots for Economic Progress has cited economic hardship as one of the biggest causes of suicides and has since proposed that the UPND administration firstly conceives and communicates a clear economic turnaround plan which will give hope to the people to avert more cases of suicide.

Party Leader, Sean Tembo has also suggested the need for the government to roll out psychology counselling services to all districts, provincial and national hospitals to be resourced by university-trained psychologists.
Mr Tembo says without these interventions, the country will continue losing people due to suicide.

He says the UPND administration has a duty and obligation to give hope of economic turnaround to Zambians but has noted with concern that so far there is no hope and many people are in despair and depression.
