The parents of a child who was mistakenly swapped at Ndola Teaching Hospital (NTH) early this year have sued the State in Ndola High Court demanding over K700,000.

The couple is demanding the amount as compensation for emotional stress, trauma and mental anguish caused allegedly by the professional negligence of the hospital management.

Marjory and Danny Kiprios have sued the Attorney-General, who is chief Government legal advisor, who, through NTH, allegedly caused them injury while acting as agents of the State.
