PF Pamodzi Alliance Munali parliamentary candidate Chrispin Chiinda this morning joined the Edgar Chagwa Lungu family, opposition leaders, Munali residents, and church leaders for a memorial service honoring the late President Edgar Chagwa Lungu.
The service was held at Praise Christian Centre in PHI and was organized by the church to remember the life of Zambia’s sixth president.
“Fellow Citizens, this morning I joined the Edgar Chagwa Lungu family, opposition leaders, Munali residents and Church leaders for a church service in remembering the late President Edgar Chagwa Lungu,” Chiinda said in a statement.
He noted that the service was “organized and called by the church” to honor the late president.
Former President Lungu, who led Zambia from 2015 to 2021, died on 5 June 2025. The service in Munali is among several memorials held across the country since his passing.
Chiinda is contesting the Munali parliamentary seat on the PF Pamodzi Alliance ticket ahead of the 13 August 2026 general elections.
