Police have charged and arrested Lusaka based freelance journalist Sylvester Kaumba for the offence of unatural offence.

Kaumba is alleged to have been sodomizing a person with down syndrome in Kamwala South.

Zambia Police Spokesperson Rae Hamoonga has issued the statement regarding this matter and says Kaumba 39 has since been released on bond and will appear in court soon.

31st October, 2022- Police has formally Charged and Arrested M/Sylvester Musonda Kaumba aged 39 for the offence of Unnatural Offence Contrary to Section 155(a) Chapter 87 of the laws of Zambia. He has since been released on police bond and is expected to appear in court soon.
