SIKAYUNI Village Headman in Mutandalike of Choma District has expressed concern over a named Christian Prophet who he says has invaded the area, inciting prejudice and speculations of witchcraft on community members without proper evidence.

Simon Muleya tells Byta FM Zambia News that the self acclaimed Prophet is targeting and victimizing women who he is accusing of witchcraft.

He is appealing to residents in the area not to listen to sentiments being peddled by the Prophet as such accusations are only breeding anarchy among community members.

And one of the alleged victims, Nelly Mweetwa, has urged her fellow women not to be deceived by people who are masquerading as Prophets in name of fulfilling their selfish desires.

She explains that the Prophet in question even tells some sick people to desist from taking prescribed medication from health facilities in preference of his prayers.
