Musician Robert Sylvester Kelly was in September 2021 convicted of child exploitation and racketeering by a Brooklyn Court Jurors in the singer’s case concluded that he was guilty of all the counts brought before the court despite faulting prosecutors for failing to prove three sub-accusations related to a victim Prosecutors have now recommended a sentence of over 25 years, while R. Kelly’s defence attorney said 14 to 17 years was appropriate

Federal prosecutors in a case against musician R. Kelly have proposed he should be sentenced to at least 25 years in prison.

Child exploitation The singer who was convicted in September 2021 of nine counts of racketeering, child trafficking and exploitation.

According to Daily Mail, R. Kelly’s case emanated from accusations by nine women and during the trial at least 45 people were called in to testify against the singer.

The prosecutors said he should be sentenced on June 29 to at least 25 years, and a fine of between KSh 5.8 million and KSh 29.2 million. See below Twitter post by TMZ:
