Legendary Zambian music icons Sista D and Maiko Zulu have today clocked 28 years in marriage.

The duo posted on their Facebook accounts to celebrate this day.

Some 28 years ago todayI met this very beautiful dark skinned girl who tried to play hard to get but was eventually knocked over by the Rastaman’s charm.
We have shared our lives in the best of times and the worst of times. We have gone hungry together, struggled together and succeeded together. We have been to some of the worst poverty stricken places and to the richest places in the world together experiencing joy and pain and taking risks while making a family. We have laughed, quarelled, fought and reconciled along the way. When the world Is not there for us, we are there for each other. We may not be the best couple but to us we are the best for each other.
