Zambian artist Slap Dee is facing social media backlash from some of his fans following his nomination in the AFRIMMA awards.

Fans have taken it to social media not to vote for him saying he supported a named political party which is his democratic right.

Many on social media say he should not be voted but instead Casper Nyovest from South Africa should win the Best Southern Africa category. Casper Nyovest is one of the artists who is hated in his country.

With this social media backlash Slap Dee is yet to react to it.
