Three people have died following a road traffic accident that occurred near Chita Lodge in Kafue at around 22:00 hours on Sunday, September 13, 2026.
According to Kafue Times, the fatal accident involved three vehicles — a Toyota Mark X, Toyota Corolla and Toyota Hilux.
The three people who died were all occupants of the Toyota Mark X. They have been identified as Chipo Chipego Sinankwe, Kasoni Sakahande and Tarfara Juliet Mulenga.
The Toyota Mark X is reported to have collided with the Toyota Corolla while allegedly overtaking before subsequently crashing into the Toyota Hilux.
The impact resulted in the deaths of the three occupants of the Toyota Mark X, making the incident another tragic reminder of the dangers associated with road traffic accidents, particularly when overtaking on busy roads.

The accident happened in the vicinity of Chita Lodge in Kafue, an area used by motorists travelling through the district.
