Governance and Development Advocates Zambia has called on the University of Zambia the high learning institution in the country to avoid resorting to riotous behaviour when ever in conflict with defferent situations.

Mr Mulenga said the behaviour exhibited by some students is very dissapointing to President Hakainde Hichilema as he has taken heed to all the needs of the Unza students by reintroducing the meal allowances which was abolished.

Further President Hichilema’s Government has always been open to engage with the Students and members of Unzasu on any developing needs.

Mr Mulenga has urged the students to desist from such vices as it is denting the image of the institution and putting the name of the President who is a number patron in disrepute.

Mr Mulenga reminded the learners at the institution to guard their hard earned knowledge which is being awaited by Government employments and the corporate world.

Mr Mulenga further warned that the time and resources spent for students to be at the University should not go to waste as acts of violence and riotous behaviour attracts prosecutions and convictions which in turn does not work in favour of the victims and concerned families.

Mr Mulenga has called on the unzasu,students and all stake holders to quickly address the issues on the table and make peace with apologies to the Republican President and the people of Zambia for the embarrassing situation that Has rocked the learning institution.
