UPND’s “Big Machine” Morgan Muunda has come to the aid of Lilanda South Adventist Church of Seventh Day, donating K10,000 towards the church’s camp meeting scheduled for later this year.
Muunda presented the donation when he addressed church leadership on Saturday.
The UPND mobilizer said he remains committed to supporting the work of God and the community.
“I remain committed to contributing to the work of God. I also call on the church to encourage members to find time for the work of God too. Our nation needs prayer, unity, and service,” he said.
Church leadership received the donation with gratitude, saying it will go a long way in ensuring a successful camp meeting.
“This K10,000 contribution will go a long way in holding a successful camp meeting. We commend Muunda for his kind gesture and for remembering the church”.
The leadership added that the camp meeting to be held in Mundengwa, is expected to bring together hundreds of members from Lusaka and surrounding areas for prayer, fellowship and spiritual renewal.
