Zambian award-winning singer Yomaps has taken a moment to reflect on what he describes as the biggest and most demanding chapter of his music career after his hit album Vibes on Vibes surpassed an incredible 100 million streams within just one to two months of its release.

The celebrated musician shared an emotional message on social media, expressing gratitude for the overwhelming support from fans while acknowledging the sacrifices and hard work that went into producing the successful album.

“They say work hard, play even harder,” Yomaps wrote alongside photos celebrating the milestone.

According to the singer, Vibes on Vibes was far more than just another music project.

He described it as a dream, a personal challenge and a mission to raise the bar beyond anything he had previously achieved.

“This was the most difficult album I’ve ever put together. Countless sleepless nights, endless studio sessions and so many sacrifices went into making it. But through hard work, patience, faith and determination, we created something truly special,” he wrote.

Yomaps said he never imagined the album would receive such an overwhelming response in such a short period.

The singer credited his fans for helping the project reach the remarkable milestone of over 100 million streams, making it one of the most successful releases of his career.

“The love you have shown this album has been unbelievable. 100 million streams in just 1–2 months is something I could only dream of, and it’s all because of your support,” he said.

Beyond the streaming success, Yomaps revealed that 2026 has become the busiest year of his music career, with performances booked across different locations.

He disclosed that demand for his performances has become so high that he has had to postpone some bookings because his schedule is already fully occupied.

“This has become the biggest and busiest year of my career. With shows fully booked, having to postpone other bookings because of the overwhelming support. Kuchalo zoona,” he wrote.

The artist also took time to celebrate his own perseverance, saying he was proud of himself for remaining disciplined and refusing to give up despite the challenges he faced during the making of the album.

“Today, as I celebrate another milestone, I just want to thank myself for never giving up, for believing in myself. Thank you for staying disciplined when things got tough. Every sacrifice was worth it,” Yomaps said.

Adding his trademark humour, the singer jokingly referred to himself as “Mr Cadillac 2”, a playful remark that quickly caught the attention of his followers.

Released under Olios Records, Vibes on Vibes has continued to dominate streaming platforms while producing several fan-favourite songs that have strengthened Yomaps’ position as one of Zambia’s biggest contemporary music stars.

The latest milestone adds yet another achievement to an already impressive career, with fans flooding social media with congratulatory messages as they celebrate the continued success of one of Zambia’s most celebrated artists.
