You can become famous without getting naked says Charity!

Popular ticktoker and comedian Charity Kalitenka, popularly known as Charity Katangah, has urged her fellow social media influencers to produce content that inspires and engages as opposed to always wanting to get naked for likes and followers.

“Social media is not a battle of who can be the most controversial but a chance to showcase your creativity and connect with others. One can go viral without any controversy, pouring insults or moving naked”, she has advised.

“I believe that there are children that have no phones and their parents will show them my videos, it wouldn’t really make sense if a parent notices that I am naked, leaving them with no option but would tell them to stop watching my videos because am not a good person”, Charity asserts.

“I know there are a lot of children that enjoy watching my videos, so I can never make content while exposing my body because the young generation get moved with everything they see.

Charity says she is in love with how she carries herself and pray that the people will be inspired to follow in her footsteps.

The 22-year-old Chililabombwe born comedienne says
despite facing some setbacks, including failing her Grade 12 exams, she remained determined to pursue her dreams using social media as a platform to share her talent with the world.

She recalls that failing her grade 12 was a devastating path disappointing to her family who strived to make her better, adding that the circumstances still did not discourage her.

“I believed in myself and especially my content despite receiving negative comments from people and the shades they threw on me” she affirms.

Charity says she still wants to pursue her education, which she says is very important to her because “talent works well with a skill,” she says.

She said she will focus on growing her audience and simultaneously send positive influence to everyone out there as she also creates high-quality engagement content that resonates with her audience.

“I am the only person that does comedy in my family and I can attest that my comedy career has been credible, rewarding and has helped me connect with people from all works of life”, she said, adding that her measuring her success has not only been about numbers, but by the impact and joy it spreads among her beloved audience.

“Comedy felt like a natural gift for me, and I have always seen it as a powerful tool to address social issues and bring about positive change which motivates others”, Charity further notes.

Charity also says that her Rosemary Mundubile documentary that has made trends on social media is one of her best content she has ever created.

“The Rosemary Mundubile content came up after my aunty told me a story about a child that was thrown out of the house because of her behavior which ignited a thought within me to create something similar to my aunty’s story.

Little did I know that from my aunty’s story, something huge would emerge and take my audience by storm and attract different people from all walks of life.

“I also intend to make more documentaries like that of Rosemary Mundubile because truly Copperbelt has a lot of things that give us joy no wonder it’s called a nation of its own”.

Charity has further revealed that the people she featured as her mother and grandfather in the now famous documentary are actually her family members, who she says are a huge blessing to her because of the support they render in her pursuit of comedy excellence.
