Lieutenant General ALIBUZWI says there are conditions at the Zambia Military Academy and recruit training centres which cadets and recruits should meet before they are declared ready to be commissioned and pass-out.

He says the command will NOT be rushed in releasing not fully baked cadets and recruits until the required standards are met.

The Army Commander said this in Lusaka during the official opening of the first quarter Command Council of 2024.

Lieutenant General ALIBUZWI added that because of its set standards, the Zambia Army has continued attracting the attention of other defence forces from different countries, one of which being the Eswatini Defence Force.

He said during his visit to Zambia, UEDF Defence Force Commander, General MOSESE FAKUDZE was happy with the high training standards Zambia Army has set and as a result personnel from Eswatini will be sent for training under the Zambia Army Command.
